Took a load of trash to the beautifully landscaped transfer station...
Quite clean and not too odorous even on a hot day...
Received another box of colorful cotton yarn to knit up into washclothes....
Finished a baby sweater for charity from leftover yarn from another baby sweater....
Another boat ride on the lake with my DH...
Those pesky mussels....
I'm still amazed that this
and this coexist on the same shores.....
Experimenting with my camera...
Proof it has been hot in SW VA lately...
I froze some of the precious tomatoes we grew organically this year. First, I washed them...
Then dropped them into boiling water for a quick blanch to loosen the skins....
Peeled and quartered them...
And placed them in labeled ziplock bags....
These will be tasty this winter......life is so good.
