- I was the nerdy kid in school who was always the teacher's pet and picked last for every single team in gym class. While I have not been exactly a couch potato, I have not been able to stick with an exercise plan for more than a month or two. February 2005, I meet an energetic 64 year old woman who had started running at 60 and encouraged me to start. She asssured me I could do it - "Just run to the next mailbox in your neighborhood and keep going a little more each time." I started that week and ran/walked 3-4 days a week and participated in numerous 5k runs for a couple of years. I'm trying to get back into an exercise routine...work, life and too many other excuses get in the way...

This curb looks familiar...is it at Townside Plaza?
I found this exhibit at the corner of Salem Avenue and Fifth Street just outside the thrift store located there...I may wander down there today to see if it is still there.
If you are wandering, I am still wondering if I will see you there.
