Looked up from my reading when I heard a squirrel angrily fussing perched on the fence, just below him Virginia the cat was chewing on grass....think maybe the squirrel was talking to the cat? Back to my reading and time to put away the camera...

I grate fresh parmesan cheese over the pesto just before I sit down to eat. Pine nuts are generally added to pesto but I am not so fond of them so I just don't bother. Secondly, I finshed a little pink sweater I knitted for a friend's child.
I worked on this sweater poolside while on vacation in Key West and also knitted in the airport on the way back home. I was able to carry my knitting needles in my carry on backpack - wondered if I could do that but seemed to be no problem at all. Hard to imagine knitting needles being used as weapons but just never know ..... Plan to read the rest of the day....Will run along the river greenway tomorrow and then back to work for 3 consecutive 12 hours shifts - will run again Friday and Saturday.

You're To Kill a Mockingbird!
by Harper Lee
Perceived as a revolutionary and groundbreaking person, you have
changed the minds of many people. While questioning the authority around you, you've
also taken a significant amount of flack. But you've had the admirable guts to
persevere. There's a weird guy in the neighborhood using dubious means to protect you,
but you're pretty sure it's worth it in the end. In the end, it remains unclear to you
whether finches and mockingbirds get along in real life.

You're Siddhartha!
by Hermann Hesse
You simply don't know what to believe, but you're willing to try
anything once. Western values, Eastern values, hedonism and minimalism, you've spent
some time in every camp. But you still don't have any idea what camp you belong in.
This makes you an individualist of the highest order, but also really lonely. It's
time to chill out under a tree. And realize that at least you believe in
ferries.
