Jackson Browne For A Dancer

I listened to this song endlessly in high school - I continue to ponder the line "In the end there's one dance you'll do alone."

I bought the album, "Late for the Sky" maybe five years ago after I viewed Martin Scorcese's Taxi Driver. Second to the title track, I listened to this ruminatively for a week.

The album cover pays homage to a meticuluous draftsman of dreams,
Magritte, and "L'empire des lumières." I did not know this when I bought it in compact disc format, but it seemed familiar.
